Some maps are changing, some are not. I seem to remember reading that a new version of veil is in the works, with the monitoring pods removed and a couple other minor changes.

There's a bit of info in this thread - I didn't see any mention of double res changing, though. Then again, that one is a few versions behind, so it's hard to say.

Monitoring pods are removed according to the changelog, so no more siege from MS...

I also remember hearing something about the mapper pondering adding another pathway of some sort between the double res and MS... Can't point out where I read that either, so it's just a rumor...

I think sieging double from MS was a fine tactic. It's not like it's free or instantaneous. Of course I'm fine with not having it as well.

That was pretty bad, yes, but you can still do it. Though it's easier to just walk in and shoot the data core hive down than to place sieges that close.

O New ns_veil:
-- o Removed Monitoring Pods.
-- o Fixed floating clip brush o' doom.
-- o Fixed doorways with Onos movement issues.
-- o Small lighting tweaks.

This is the most I found going back 20 days or so. Could be more.

That must be that spot in pipeline hive.

Yes, they ARE removed. And thank god they were, what a nuisance...
