    If you can get it to explode inside the onos, and if you can kill the onos with it, Im sure the marine will be killed.

    They'd probably make it so if you were priming a grenade and get devoured it'd fall on the floor where you last were. Either that or the onos' stomache acids would dissolve the grenade before it could explode or something...

    I really doubt they would let the rine carry the grenade into the onos, Im guessing it will drop onto the ground if primed (and hopefully stay primed and blow up)

    Considering the res cost of the onos (102-106) vs the grenade (free on spawn after research) That'd be fine as long as the price of researching it is around 8-12 oni, since this will pretty much mean oni won't be devouring much at all since it'd be an instant loss of onos. It should be comparative in price to its effectiveness.

    Hand Grenades are included in the lastest version of the beta.
    Theres a render of the model somewhere in the 3.0b changelog post, I believe

    it will be balanced. Fear not: Flay wouldn't make such a massive change as the addition of grenades without first thinking about the implications of it in every gameplay situation.

    i think it should do 250 damage to health, and 25 to armor...

    in no way a guaranteed kill...

    The only place it would be a guaranteed kill is endgame, when lamer onos run in vs lvl 3 weapons and just devour nonstop.... u guys know what im talking about

    Any other time it will serverely damage the onos, but will not kill him....

    That's a kind of... Odd looking grenade :o

    I think Flay has had enough sense in the production thus far, enough that he'll keep it up.     If I'm not mistaken, the nade blows up 4 seconds after you throw it, no matter what. That means no priming and no hive rushes unless you can land it on top of the hive. Speaking of dropping nades when you are devoured, why doesn't that happen to all of the weapons? Doesn't make much sense to me. The only reason to not shoot a gun while inside an onos would be to drop it as you are eaten.

    I think atm there is no priming. I have held a nade for more the then blowing up period even though the animation has the pull pin out.
