<div class="IPBDescription">feedback pleeease</div> Ok, so i've just pretty much finished up a small website for my map in progress. Basically linking to the NS forums all the time for pictures and videos is a tad annoying, so i'm compiling everything down into one little site.
Anyway, the interface and main design is done, and i need some feedback. Oh, and i know the code's total trash, but it's working in IE and Firebird, can someone test in Opera and Mozilla to see if it's working ok?
One thing, nobody comment saying "there's not enough colour" or similar, i am definately keeping this entirely greyscale, there's no changing my mind there.
EDIT: Would help if i linked, lol.

Also, the content isn't there, so the links don't work. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Not as good as the last webdesign you did, but its still nice.
I like the design + the colour scheme, and nice use of splatter brushes in the background.
Can't find anything wrong with it TBH
So my question is, do you think the interface is ok as it is, or do i need to remove a bit of the mystery and add some text so you know what you're going to before you move the mouse over it? I tried to compensate for this with the little help image since without that most people would be entirely lost. Also, i've currently got the interface words on the psd at the moment, and i must admit it doesn't look as hot.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
Only an idiot wouldnt figure that out
And it works fine in Mozilla.
GJ.
all it needs now is the map logo somewhere. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Fixed. I updated it at something like 3am, i guess it's my own fault, heh.

Then it would be perfect.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I've removed a bit of the blank space that was at the top (which i added through html), but the rest is in the image. I may tweak it, but i'm happy with it as it is. To be honest, how hard is it to scroll a website?

It's very hard to see what it's supposed to represent.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Hmm, i'm running my monitor in 1280x1024 on a 15", so i'm used to things being uber small, but they look recognisable as they are. Bear in mind, they're thumbnails and they're not supposed to be uber-detailed, they're supposed to be interesting enough to get you to click on them. I probably won't be updating the size of them since i'll have to double the length of the page to accommodate for the extra lines used, and since people are already complaining about scrolling (<!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->) i think it's best to avoid that. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Nice work!
News flash, i am a webdesigner currently doing a degree in graphic design. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
