Nade Luncher Explode Upon Impact

half-life players know there's a mp5 that launches nade
and it explodes upon impact (not jus hitting the aliens but explode even when hit the floor or celing)
i was wondering if there is a reason for the delay on nade launcher
i wa thinking, explode upon impact would be much more convinent since the skulk and otherstuff would have less time to runaway and stuff..u know

i figure it needs some distinction
Hand Grenades will not explode on contact at any time; if one hits a skulk, no boom. It'll just bounce off of him, but when the timer reaches 0, it detonates.
I beg to differ, and I think anyone who's played with me will agree - The GL can be deadly and efficient in the right hands.

What about a GL/JPer? Try fighting a guy who can do massive amounts of damage to your hive, and you can't keep up with. Far more deadly if you don't have any kind of web/OC protection.
Of course, you could always try standing still and lobbing a nade in the lerk's face.... and then getting healed up by medspam.
it would be much better if the firing is done client side, like bilebomb or acid rocket
since hand thrown granade in on it way...

Ya, this is kind of wierd. The grenade looks like it comes straight out of the middle of the screen.
