NS, a great amazing game with a new gameplay of teamwork and fps, i have been a great fan of NS ever since it was released publicly but never signed up to forums.
The game updates on a regular basis and has camptured the spirit of many a Half-Life player. You guys have created a growing mod that is getting even better.
The Release of 3.0
The release of NS:C is said to bring the Counter Strike players to the gameplay, yet why do you search for more players when there are so many people playing NS at the moment?
The release of NS:C will also effect NS updates and the work will have to be shared, the team will have to handle two projects and slow down the Update of NS.
Are you going to get new members to the NS team to solve this problem?
yet i still ask why you look for the CS players?
Please do not flame or shout, ive just asked two questions that have been on my mind.

Also this release is suspose to be the last for a long time! Flayra is making it perfect, thats why we have so many PTs.
Also, there are already 6 or more 3.0 topics, add this to them.

That would be RTS and FPS, teamwork is probably not a gameplay style [yet, anyway, until it becomes scarce (wait, it isn't already?) ].

Hey, crabs and steak aren't that bad.
I think they were just joking about you. NS is not really a money making project. In fact, most of the donations go into just keeping NS alive and paying for servers and development time.

There really aren't that many people playing NS at the moment. I'm sorry to shatter everybody's bubble here. It's a great mod, people recognize it for it's vision, the way that it's changed the engine, but it's not earth-changingly popular.
They've said that NS:Classic was their main interest several times. A lot of the problems with NS:C also plague the regular version as well. From my standpoint at least, it looks like 1.5 projects, not 2.
They could be, but I kind of doubt it.
It's not really CS players. People seem to forget that there are other games out there. People do play DoD, TFC, and so on. And it's not like CS players are all bad people. I'm sure that a lot of people came from CS to NS. Don't think of them as CS players, think of them as people who might start playing the normal version of NS after they get hooked on NS:C.
Actually he's prolly been res wh0ring so he can save for holidays.
On a serious note i'd say he wants the larger player base in order to get more support for his mod. The money wouldnt go astray im sure. The more people playing the more exposure the mod gets and the better rep flay gets.

Proof of this:
- Updated manual
- NS:C
- Combined with the already simple features of NS, it should be a gratifying experience.
Then I stopped playing Firearms because it was really buggy and got updated slow...maybe I should check that out. (I miss taking grenades from ammo chests though). More NS players should be good though.
