I fried my bro's videocard
He asked for it though.
He wanted me to apply some better thermal compound to his GPU because he was having heat issues. After cleaning the white goop off, I applied some Arctic Silver 3. Yes, AS3 is electrically conductive and can be dangerous, but I was careful, I swear! Actually, some of the original white goop got onto the front of the card and we didn't notice it. Windows loading screen has artifacts, card wont boot to the desktop. I'm cleaning it with alcohol, hopefully that will remove anything thats still on there.

The Ti 4400 has a fan, a not bad fan. Next time you decide to go insane, why not just buy a second case fan and GLUE it to the inside of the case aimed at the cards.
I have 6 Fans in my cases, 4 are case fans I use to move air over EVERYTHING!
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??
I really hope you can save the card!

I doubt so, if you read their site.....

This is what I was referring to...

While it is not electrically conductive, the compound is slightly capacitive and could potentially cause problems if it bridges two close-proximity electrical paths.

AS3 can short your card (or any component for that matter). But it was the white paste that got on the card, not the AS3.
