Conversion To Steam Went Bad.. Help Plz

I copy and pasted my ns folder into steam. When I enter a game It says "can not load" random flies when i bring down the consol ingame. Like A bunch of odd things happen. nothing graphical but Make it so I lag and skip I cant chose any thing but primary weapon. Just a bunch of odd things. Any help will be greatly appresheated, Thanks.
