<div class="IPBDescription">Cant switch!</div> I was playing the best mod in the world (NS) when I ran out of ammo and tryed to switch to pstol. But nothing happened, and I died. Then I tryed typing a message to the commander and the message never showed up. I hit enter and just nothing. And I was a ONOS (THEY RULE!!!) when I tryed to switch from Eating to ram/stomp. and again nothing happened. I then found out that everything does that now. The only communication I have is pop-up menu and SPEAK, and it kills me, no it really kills me, every thing. And it doesnt stop there belive it or not, im using <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> STEAMing pile o shieat! <!--emo&::onos::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tiny.gif'><!--endemo-->

RAM: 256 pc1066 rdram(best known to man as of now)(soon will be 512)
Graphics: 64mb g-force MX
HD: 40 gig, 30 used, 8mb chach

The only thing that I can think of is to reinstall NS to your steam. (possibly use the NS 2.0 Beta Steam Installer get it <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=31&t=49430' target='_blank'>here</a> This is from the Public Beta Forum btw)

Maybe check you config. Steam doens't always save your settings correct. (Especially it steam crashes) Maybe you need to redefine your keys for next weapon and chat ?

I recently installed the beta steam installer for NS and my right click menu didn't work at all. I had to go into the steam setup and change my keys to default to get back to the configuration I'm used to.

There so great, wil they work in IMs aka: aim/msn?

No they wont work in aim.
Also make sure to check your graphics properties with steam, they tend to go back to 32bpp and high quality something when you install steam
