    with mapping-contest you mean the official map-submission deadline, right?
    I don't know what maps made it into the Playtests, but I'm also sure that this isn't a guarantee for getting into the first release. They want it about 100megs big and so they must pick the <i>very</i> best maps only.

    And there was a TON of great maps submitted. I think the maps are just undergoing final tweaking and soon the v1 maps will be chosen.
