That must be quite a sight. Every man to his own I guess.

As for your question, it depends on your Joystick; more specifically, your drivers for it. As I see it, it breaks down to 2 options:

    1) Your driver asigns the joystick movement to an event, eg JoyLeft. This can then be used like any other key in place of 'A' (strafe left key.) This is ideal, but if you cant get NS to recognise the joystick movements when you try and bind keys in the customisation menu then you'll have to try '2)'

    2) Your driver outputs joystick movement in full analogue*. AFAIK this is not supported by NS, but you never know. In this case, you'd have to get the driver to assign a joystick movement to a key, which is then used in the NS controls menu. I cant really elaborate on that 'cos it depends on your drivers.

ie, not just X,Y axis, but all the bits between.

Try posting in the Tech Support forum also. Sorry I can't give much more info, but all the same, HTH.

first thx a lot BlueNovember 4 the quick answer

its a saitek cyborg 3d gold joystick...i dont think its an analogue one

meanwhile i use standart win xp drivers, but i can install others, if its not enough...

is there another way of figure out the names of the possible "events", when u dont want to use the configuration menu?
u mentioned "joyleft"....anyone know the other?
