Seeing how this thread necromancy is clearly directly linked to a post by CWAG <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77059' target='_blank'>here</a>, <rest of sentence removed before pressing post button>. I refreshed the thread and saw CWAG's intent in posting to this thread.
For public information: posting in old threads with some new or relevant information is considered participating in the thread. <i>It's okay</i> to post in a thread that's dropped off the first page. "Thread necromancy" is simply posting in a slightly-older-to-ancient thread <i>without</i> intending to actually contribute. <i>That's</i> what gets threads locked.
Example: if CWAG had found some news about a mod for C&C finally being released as a result of people learning from this conference, this would've been a reasonable thread to put it in. "You go girl" bears no direct or indirect relationship to C&C Renegade or the company that made it, so CWAG has demonstrated how <i>not</i> to do things.
