Most Amazing Victory?

<div class="IPBDescription">How did that just happen??</div> Seeing as a few folks started the threads of 'best kill', 'best death', or 'best beer (the black stuff duh...)'. It might be amusing to hear tale of the most astounding victories that folks have to share out there.
This is certianly not the <b>best</b> victory I've ever seen, to be sure, but given my poor memory in general, its the best I can recall at the moment. Last night I log in, and jump into a game with a few folks like... 6 or so. I always go to random teams, I play to have fun, not to beat up the losing side or the outnumbered side. Needless to say this ethic of course, like this time, winds me up in a tought spot. I spawn in as marine with a skulk and a fade attacking our base. They seem content to attack the TF when I come in so, I promptly tap the fade on the shoulder with a full clip of LMG dropping him and using the pistol on the skulk. Over the next ... I dunno 45 minutes we gain about a dozen more players and the marines slowly (ever so slowly) to gain 1, then 2 hives. Along the way we fight off onos, lerks, fades massive oc farms, the usual... Then we manage to lose both hives, and in desperation we throw everything at one hive to make the aliens retreat home. Then both sides start making large rushes at each home base, the other side either running back to protect or dying and spawning into trouble. Eventually a lone sneaky JPer manages to set up a seige farm outside a hive. We kill that off smartly, finally launch a successful assualt on hive #2 and keep it. Then using our momentum the marines race to the third hive and finish it off. It was a LOT of work, and a LOT of fun. Exactly the reason I love NS so much.

I came to the hive as a marine and started knifing it. nobody ever came to save it.

It's a grim situation for the Kharra. 2 hive lockdown, HA/JP everywhere. Another skulk and I snuck out of base, creeped all the way to the marine base - and proceeded to eat the CC. We both got killed, but after that the marines didn't stand a chance. The Kharra came roaring back when two of our people went onos. They just charged into the other hives and cleaned them out - followed by gorges who put up the hives.
Again an oni was coming this time from traid I stood at the end of the hallway and started shooting. Comm came out and started shooting too. Score one dead oni. This went on for about another 20 minutes with the aliens using redemtion oni and only redmetion oni. While we got 2 more res nodes and full tech.
By this time a few more had joined and the comm sent out some jp/shotties to annoy comp core and maint while he saved for HA. about 40 minutes into the game 6 ha with a mix of hmgs and shotties went to triad. By this time the aliens were running low on res and we only had to kill 2 oni's. after claming the res node we started buiding a turret farm in the little hallway that leads to ec. some of my squad died and others had to go back to base too fend off an attack so it was just me in HA and a jp/hmg building turrets the comm scaned ec and as soon as the first salvo of seiges is done I hear "We need better players" I spin around and blast the fade behing me. Soon we marched into ec and clamed it.
This whole time comm had been sending out jp's too attack the other hives and while we were building in ec one got lucky in mait. Taking it down and most of the OC's in the area. Other jp's were sent to hold the site while me and the res of the HA's marched to cc.The aliens mistakenly thinking the comm was only attacking maint rushed there. I don't know if they spent all there res on fades and oni or if the jp's killed all the gorges but when comp core went down none lasted very long verses the ping of death. All told the game had takenabout an hour and is the best comeback I have ever seen.
I still don't know how I heard that fade.
