problem!
I got steam and have been using it for quite some time now for CS. But when I installed it, I also converted natural selection through the set up wizard. Recently when I tried to play natural selection after a long break, I loaded up CD (most recent) and found a server through ASE and double clicked to connect to it. But after NS loads and the console comes up, all it says are "Port 2...... and then something else" and then the whole thing crashes. It's impossible to shut down the game through, even using CTRL+ALT+DEL menu is useless, and the only way to end it is to just turn off the PC!! - and this is with XP!
I then deleted the steam ns files and again tried to play, but the same thing happens.
Someone tell me how I'm supposed to play please!!!!!!!!!!

But, If you REALLY REALLY Wanna play 2.0 on Steam!
try that buggy, ugly beta version of ns steam.

But how do I play on WON servers? Someone please tell me! I'm desperate here. Should I uninstall and reinstall NS2.0? Or would I need to get rid of steam altogether before I can play?
If you want the least problems down the road, uninstall EVERYTHING. Then reinstall Half Life, with Natural Selection. The get the full install download for Steam (700+MB ) and install with that. No conversion needed, and you then have a Steam Half Life install to play with, and a WON Half Life.
