Check this out!
Hi all, I was just checkin out some other up and coming Half-Life mods and I noticed a site for this one had a killer screenshot plugin. Not quite sure how they did it, but they have a window where a 3d model of theirs sits, and you drag your mouse and you can rotate any way you want and zoom. I think that would be great to show off the spectacular modeling job the devs have done here. Unfortunately I don't know the name or how it works, but here is the url to a site which takes advantage of this cool little effect.

Welcome Jimmy, but at this point I think time would be better spent finishing the MOD as well and as soon as possible instead of torturing us anymore. Maybe after release it could be added along with a description as a sort of online picture-manual.

O, Of course, I was just suggesting the addition if they ever did a site revamp after the release of the mod. I think newcomers seeing the media in that way would really be interested.

That's a cool plug-in. I'm pretty sure it costs money to license, though I think Def One (one of the NS artists) has done something similar on his web-site.

"Q: How Much Does ZoomView Cost?
As a hobbyist, you are entitled to a free Viewpoint license for non-commercial purposes - if that's the case, and you do all the creation and hosting yourself, it costs absolutely nothing. If you would like to use the license for commercial purposes, you are required to pay Viewpoint a license fee. This fee is dependant on the number of images simultaneously published on a given website and whether or not you would like Viewpoint to handle the creation and hosting. Full pricing is available on Viewpoint's License page."

That is from the faq and I think this would be considered "non-commercial purposes" so you could use viewpoint if you guys ever had the time to get some models up before the release or just use it in a online guide of some sort.

Viewpoint was cool until it started plastering "viewpoint.com" all over the 3d image... I think a "viewpoint.com" at the bottom of the viewing window would be sufficient, but they didn't ask me about it either.
