Choke And Loss.

<div class="IPBDescription">Where's it coming from and how can I fix</div> Just recently I have started getting a large amount of choke and loss in Natural Selection. Its not all the time only abit. This however is VERY bad as it could come when your jumping a marine as a skulk or when your trying to escape as a fade or onos.

I bumped up my rate to 22000 because some of my clanmates said that would help. It has slightly reduced choke and loss but its still there occasionally. It hasn't happened before and this all started a few days ago when I noticed it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Choke is determined as follows:
The next time a packet can be sent is:

    Current time + 1/cl_updaterate
Current time + (number of bytes just sent / rate setting)

So, if you play with a high cl_updaterate value you are likely to get more choke if your bandwidth cannot handle it.

loss is somewhat self explanitory. As far as i know there is no solution though HL. You shoudl contact your isp, i think.

Contact your ISP, ask them to check your line.. probably something happened to it.. if that doesnt work it could be your modem - or a DDoS bot, run an antivirus, then a spyware scan.
