This Error Be Solved!
NOTE: Before you use this info to fix your error, I tested this procedure on Windows XP, so dont complain if it doest work if you are using another OS. It should also work on Win98, but im not sure about Win2k.
FINALLY solved it. After many a' hour of Internet Browsing, and some help from NS.org , i figured out how to solve this really crappy error. Im not sure if DSL/Cable users get this error. (Im on 56k) But doing this should fix the problem.
.
If you get kicked from servers randomly, getting a "NET_SendPacket Error: WSAENTR". Simply do the follwing
1) Go into Network Places (Located in Control Panel)
2) Right Click on whichever connection you are using, and go to Properties
3) Click On The Networking Tab and Uninstall "QOS Packet Scheduler"
4) Viola! That should fix it!
(note: Some people i talked to said they Reinstalled QOS Packet Scheduler and they were still error free after that. I didnt reinstall mine... but if you feel you must have it , see if it works after reinstalling )
If That doest completely do the trick (Some users from a website complained of minor incidents with the error after they did the first thing). You can also:
1) Go into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services
2) Find QOS RSVP and Disable it
3) That should fix the problem (I did both of them and im getting no more Packet Errors, just to be on the safe side)
Hope that helps any of you who are experiencing this awful error. Post if it doesnt work, or does, id like to get confirmation from other NS players.
Thanks all!
