<div class="IPBDescription">Dead chat</div> I've heard many different ideas on the subject.

You can only talk to dead players when dead. You can only use general chat when dead, voice-chat still works, etc.

In my experience it's been that you can't team-chat while dead... But I'm not entirely sure.

So I must ask, In NS 2.01, when you are dead can you ------?

1. team chat with live players
2. team chat with dead players
3. global chat with live players
4. use voice communication with live players

I know 3 is true. That hacker Yolt killed me using his parasite-machinegun and I called him something. He replied back with something just as bad.

I can only assume that he saw the global message.

afaik you can still talk in every way as you could while you're alive.

I know you can't do 1, but 3 seems rather random. =/

In 1.04 u could speak with live players only for a second after your death (so people would see things like "OMG" and such)... You can for sure use voice comm but I'm not sure about the other ones in 2.01
