New picture i whipped up
Been working on this for a couple of hours, its nothing special, based off the Alien action collectors toys. (please dont tell me theres no background and it would look better with one, i can't be screwed making one to be honest, heh)
Used photoshop 8 and my Wacom Graphire3 Tablet (like always, my only 2 tools i use). Bit of paint here, bit of smudging there..the usual.. and i had this. Inspired by the great works of H.R Giger, YOU SHOULD ALL WORSHIP HIS ART!

I have two of those alien queens by the way. The bigass one that comes with that lady whose chest has been burst through. Then there's the standard size action figure of the queen.
Do a predator next!!
I second the motion
BTW, that is unbelievable....looks exactly like....an....ACTION FIGURE!!!11
that looks really Uber-woot.
and yes, if you make a predator i will gladly allow my skull to be it's first trophy.
thats bloody awesome

i really want to ask, how do you make it look so slimy? thats great stuff, I just want to know how you do that

the main trick, use thin pure white lines
since theres all this shading and colours, you mainly focus on thiat, but look closley on all the parts that look wet/shiny, it's just white! Makes it look like theres light bouncing off the surface creating a shiny look, but its just the colour white done with a 1 pixel brush, hehe
u dont want to pay?
there is a free program called GIMP, every linux user should know it already
there is also a free windows version

I have the original PSD file of the painting i did, i made mine from scratch with only the paint brush and such and i sent Work in progress images to KylieGirl if you dont believe me. So please stop that.
This is directed SQUARELY AT YOU.
I saw the Work in Progress shots of this little artwork by Visual. I know he did NOT use a smudge tool, and it just goes to show you that some people really do set out to ruin everything that other people do.
What's the problem ? can't accept the fact that he made something that looks as close to the original as that ?
Head to Deviantart.com and have a look around there, you'll find some people who do photorealistic SKETCHES.
Instead of wasting half your day searching for a picture to compare an image to, go outside and take a walk. Get away from your computer.
Or at dont say anything at all...
do not make accusations without knowing the whole truth ...
i suggest you edit your posts and remove those pics as you are just causing unecessary accusations and trouble.
ive just said i have done this in 5 minutes.. i could underlay it with a pencildrawing to if you want.. why do you feel judged in any way.. do you feel guilty?
nah.. joke..
