<div class="IPBDescription">A mod for the Swedes!(56k Warning)</div> <a href='http://www.silentheroes.se/' target='_blank'>http://www.silentheroes.se/</a>

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->The year is 2003. The conflict in Iraq takes longer than the Allied forces have estimated. Civil unrest makes it harder for the forces to maintain normal security in the main cities and the uprising amongst the Kurds in the north puts strains in the relationship between the US-installed government and the NATO country Turkey. With Bush putting Syria on top of the 'Axis of Evil' list, the US government sends an additional 50 000 soldiers in preparation of a third invasion in the Middle East.

The sheer number of NATO forces tied up in the region makes it clear to military analysts that other large campaigns will be delayed or made impossible due to lack of resources. At the same time a group of high ranking military personnel in the Swedish High Command bring out a secret plan laid out in the beginning of the 20th century and begins to update it to modern standard.

A misty Sunday morning in the year 2007, five helicopters drop units from the secret elite special ops group SSG near a base at the border, while a battalion of tanks from regiment P7 enters the country, all according to plan.

The Invasion of Norway is under way! <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The Mod plays great. I believe it puts DC to shame. The ingame models and physics are realistic (No health bar, head shots are sometimes protected by helmets).

Mod looks cool. My comp is ****, maybe i'll get a better one for X-Mas and be able to play all these graphical type games.

Off-topic note: They should make a mod where Canada invades Mexico. Or vice-versa. They want our icecubes and we want their mariachi bands.

I've always thought that BF1942 was a smooth, shiny version of Operation Flashpoint.

    Anyway, the mod looks cool.

I think I'll stick with "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down" for now...

I was disappointed with Black Hawk Down.

It's Multiplay was incredible, but single player.. come on Novalogic!!!

I hope they do good with Joint Ops.

*Sigh* Yet another BF1942 "mod" where they change maps and models and a few numbers in the code. Every popular mod for that game is just a slight change on the original game. All war based, control the points while the score goes down, omg so uber realistic, omg we have helicopters so it must kick **** mods. Bleh, I love playing BF Interstate 82, at least it's different <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    1) Yea it's war based. The original game is based on World War II. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    2) What is BF Interstate 82 like? I enjoyed Interstate '76 and Vigilante 8.
