[mcon] Metal Storm Rifle Concept

<div class="IPBDescription">6 Barrels..</div> This here's a concept of a rifle that uses the metal storm firing system. It has 6 barrels, three side by side. The gun holds two mags at a time. Each mag holding 15 bullets each. The magazines are loaded on the top, and since the gun holds two magazines at a time, you don't have to stop firing to reload. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

The <a href='http://www.metalstorm.com' target='_blank'>metal storm</a> weapon system is a caseless weapon system, and is electronically fired, which allows for insane ROF's as multiple bullets can be fired from the weapon at the same time. Since the system uses no moving parts to fire the weapon, there is a very low chance of the gun jamming. To generate the electricity used to fire the weapon, the gun uses a kinetic energy generator to generate energy when the gun is fired or moved.

I'm gonna try to model this thing myself, but feel free to take a swipe at it. Also, it still doesn't have a name and I could use some suggestions. Metal Storm is an Aussie company, so aussie names are a possiblity.

I don't think it would recoil that much though, it's caseless with no moving parts and electrically fired.

its a very kool idea of a weapon i remember seeing this on tecttv they said with 30 barrels it could fire over 500,000 rounds a minute uhh overkill?

I saw one of those things on a Documentary way back, it could shoot 1 million bullets in a second or something, when they fierd it... whoa, say goodbye to shotguns lmao!
