Target_mp3audio crashes nstr

<div class="IPBDescription">Does anyone else have this problem?</div>I have a little problem.  Whenever a target_mp3audio entity tries to play, the game crashes with an error:

HL caused an invalid page fault in
module FMOD.DLL at 0177:0a785346.

...Etc etc etc.

It's not a big deal, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or knows how to fix it.  BTW, I'm using a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 on Win98.

A few of us have encountered that problem, it means you.. (ummm).. hl.dll or something is corrupt (Merkaba, do you remember the name of the file? ). Just find someone with the NSTR2 or redownload it and it should fix that file. This has been fixed in the final version.

It's usually something to do with fmod.dll, which is the controller for all mp3 stuff. How it gets corrupted/changed I have no idea.

Ahh! So NS maps play mp3s like ambience!  That explains the music.

    Or does it?

    Help.
