<div class="IPBDescription">'Twas the map before Hera...</div> I've been working on converting the Night Before Christmas poem to NS <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> . I've been told that it has been done before, but, well, I haven't seen anything else about it. Unfortunately, I never completed it, and, seeing how it is christmas already, I probably shouldn't delay any longer.
If anyone wants to, please continue this <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> .

And away to the nearest res node we ran.
The turrets were placed 'round the IPs with care,
in hopes that the Kharra soon would be there.
And I in my Comm Chair and squad 5 at vent,
had just set up phase gates and away they went!
When in my ears rang "Structure under attack",
But it could be saved, we could still get it back.
I moved to the structure as quick as I can,
And clicked on my Obs to give it a scan.
The room, now bathed in unearthly blue glow,
Gave the luster of midday to objects below.
When what on my shining blue HUD should appear,
But a fade killing my RT and a Gorge standing near!
A fade in 3 minutes, that's awfully quick.
To recover from this we'd have to do something slick.
I scanned round the map and selected my troops,
And divided them up into 4 little groups.
"Now squad 1, now squad 2, now squad 3 and 4..."</i>
