with the 3.8 cats there were those special things so you could play your games in black and white and all that lot . I just Installed the new drivers and i cant find the thingy to turn all these thingys on , where are they?

    I tried out the ASCII stuff...it was a good idea (sort of), but you can't even make out what's on the screen.

    Meh, my Radeon 9600 pro is messed up, I get 20-30 fps in halflife and heavy graphic lag sometimes, newest drivers too :/

    I put my FPS drop from game to game on the CPU bottle necking the game its only 1.6Ghz compaired to the Radion 9800Pro...

    Turn off truform and set the half-live variables ati_npatch and ati_subdiv to 0
    Problem solved.

    Also, the newest drivers are the 3.10, might want to upgrade to those if you haven't. They work quite nicely
