I recently received a new GeForce 4 MX 440 w/TV-out. It came with a driver CD. Do I need to install these drivers and then the new nVIDIA ForceWare drivers (53.03 for XP), or can I install the FW drivers straight out? The card is sold by Eagle, if that means anything.
System Specifications:
Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 1 (2600.xpsp2.030422-1633)
System Manufacturer: Dell Computer Corporation
System Model: DIM4400
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 1.70GHz
Memory: 384MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902)
On a side note, I have heard that the new FW drivers reduces NS's frame rate dramatically. Is this true, and if so what should I do about it?
