Steam Question

Probably already asked before
Right, I've already installed steam, and i've had it since it came out, But because of my foolish mistakes I didn't use the old halflife files during instalation and therefore can not play NS. Is there anyway I can get NS to be played on steam without unistalling and re-installing?

Copy the files into ../Steam/Steamapps/your@email.com/Half-Life then restart Steam and it should all be well.

OR there is a version of ns for steam. get it here:

might be easier than copying files, that way you can still play on won.

I hardly think pressing Ctrl-C then Ctrl-V is exactly taxing, and it will save you the extra 114mb download.

*EDIT: Also, any problems you may have with Steam and NS are covered in this thread.

that beta download fixes MOST of the problems that the orignal 2.0 client has with steam, so i think its worth 114mb to download it and save all that searching installers that fix every little problem.
