Lotsa running for me in this mod

Hey, im new..but anyways. By the look of these aliens..im ganna be running alot..so dont count on me when a 200 pound beast turns the corner and charges at a group of us..cus i will be hauling my ### away very quickly. I would rather be a commander..i have a very tactical mind..but not a "im ganna rush and kill all those bugs!!!" kinda mind..ive been looking at the maps and..WOW this dosnt even LOOK like halflife anymore..the look of it is just amazing! Im just wondering..will it run O.K. on my comp?

(right now) 1.2 gigs of hard drive space
11meg vidio card..have no idea what kind..but it supports software and opengl modes

Polk audio master speakers.

From what we've been told it should run on any PC that will run standard Half-Life.

Yeah if other mods like Cs and Half-Life run fine then you shouldn't have a problem with NS.

and youll be lucky if you ever find a charging alien as small as 200lbs... i think the lvl 5 will weigh something more like 200kg...

i think the game is so good, but it will be a little bit heavier then halflife. This is just because the levels, models and commander mode are so (how do you say it? its 'uitgebreid' in dutch) great, i think it will run fine, but a little bit less smooth. This is no problem since every1 has better computers as when hl was released, and the ones who don't just have to put their detail/res a bit lower.

if i remember properly the specs arent very high for running HL so u either have a stone age computer or expect quite alot from this mod, i think everyone is expecting alot from this mod but just to set aside some high hopes (sorry) i just want to say - whatever these coders do - it is still the HL engine and therefore cannot work miracles - if they put in to much then the engine will just collapse and all the teams time will be wasted the team will have to sacrifice some parts of the mod to make the mod playable - i just hope they can put all they wanted to put in Good Luck NS  - use the force the C++ Force
As for the running thing i really hope we arent gonna get stupid bunny hoppers again (anyone for a game of cs bounce bounce) because they truly annoy me and you dont see Swat teams on pogo sticks in any other game than cs. I would rather have Grey running + crapping himself everytime he sees a 200kg then him picking up his pogo stick and bouncing away.

ANyway i think the marines won't be able to bunny hop, but soem aliens will.

i think there will be rushing in this mod... when a game starts, all aliens are weak and have only one hive. A small group of get-to-know each other marines could go in FAST to kill the hive. the aliens are weakest then.
