i dont know about that but some times it says to me something about "svc" and then boots me off.

the svc scrolling thing is just a bug, and it's harmless.

if you've modified the .dll files or anything else, you'll probably get that type of error. if you think you haven't modified any HL files, you may actually want to check for viruses or other malicious programs that could have changed certain files.

the fix should be to reload the HL files... that is, reinstall Half Life and NS. After uninstalling, of course.

but if it's only specific servers they may just be enforcing file consistency, so any simple modifications (skins, sounds) may throw them off. if you're not using custom anything then, again, you may want to reinstall.
