Bug or No
I noticed the music stops to play at a certain point. I think in 1.04 the music played throughout the game but in 2.0 it stops. Is this a bug? option on/off? and if its a bug will it get fixed in 3.0?

I would reccomend removing any .mp3s from your ns/music directory, as triggers in maps will still play the mp3s and eat processing power.
Just a suggestion, however. Add mp3s to said directory to get more music for your game. The mp3 included with Sven Co-op 3.0 is rather awesome.

yeah, its fixed in 3.0. (or so people have told me) Really annoying when you got youre custom mp3's goin and youre gettin into the mood and all of the sudden you die and it all stops.

Actually, adding theme tunes from children's TV programs to your ns/music directory make for some side-splitting gameplay.
It's hard to take that fade serriously as Postman Pat plays in the background...
Ahem. I have Led Zeplin playing, so dont worry.
Yea, I find that extremely annoying too. I have the techno tracks from the 3 Matrix Soundtracks in my ns music folder, but hardly hear it because I get too involved in the game and forget to hit my nexttrack key.
Some people say the music is too loud, just turn it down to whereever you want, thats what I did. Cl_musicvolume 0 - 300 (I believe).

What's wrong with you people! I love the ambience, I'd turn the music on to ear splitting volumes in 1.04, when music still worked. once in a while, when the music works again, I get that nostalgic feeling, like it's 1.04 all over again. But that's just me .

Personally, I have it on with 60 in volume.
But after installing Sven Coop and getting that "fix", it stopped playing ocmpletely, so I'm stuck with WinAMP, which I leave at 20% volume.

See various fmod.dll threads to fix it.
ive turned my music off cause i always seem to get jumped by a skulk just as the music reaches its loudest point but i normally have wmp open at low volumn just so i have something to listen to when i'm being devoured
Comments
I also can't seem to find the option to stop it, but I think i saw it htere before.
Personally i hate it, i like VERY quiet Ambience, but i hate the damn music, so i just wait until it eventually stops itself.
