<div class="IPBDescription">If you don't know already...</div> A worm has been going around IRC under the name "anne.jpg". The virus makes you spam the link to the virus, download it, and shortly after get g-lined. Please do not click on anne.jpg

(If you had a global notice from gamesnet earlier today or yesterday [don't remember which] this is the on they're talking about)

    an expansion on this warning would be "Don't click on any links that seem out of context with the conversation". If you're talking about starwars and someone posts something like "Obi-wan.jpg", it's probably safe. However, if you're talking about NS and someone posts "ladybirds.jpg", it's not right.

    Remember, there's variations on this thing, and it WILL change it's name again soon, so be careful

    Just wanted to add that it's not only the anne.jpg, there are other variations out already, too. For example a guy named Dw_ spams this address for you privately when you join one NS related rather popular channel:

    Do not click it by any means thus it must be the same damned virus.

    Actually, some random person I dont know PMed me and said something like "LOLOLOOLOLOL LOOKET MY WEBKAM LOLOL <a href='http://HTTP://WWW.LOLPr0N!.COM/WEBCAM.JPG.."' target='_blank'>HTTP://WWW.LOLPr0N!.COM/WEBCAM.JPG.."</a> ok so that was egsadurated (omg uber spelling mistake right there). Needless to say I put them on Ignore and closed the PM.
