Will there be 32 player servers? Are the maps too cramped for 32 players?

    We've had 32 players in most of the current maps we are testing.     If they stick together and work as a team to support him instead of live off him, it shouldn't be a problem. And if they don't, well, who really cares if 2-3 marines go without ammo for 5-10 minutes? Hehe...

    Actually he can only command 14 marines not including himself, but if the team were balanced 20-10, now that would be a pain for the commander!!

    i would agree, it would suck a lot more if you had some major newb teammates and they kept on dying. but if everyone on the marines side knew how to play which is highly unlikely, there would be much more intense gaming with limited resources. all the childish newbs would want to play as a marine because of the sheer joy of screaming in their voice comm and randomly shooting at silhouettes which appear to look like aliens

    I'm hoping you can have huge battles like that... more people to do roles!

    I'd say if we start seeing 20v20 matches (which I'm sure won't happen), then we'd start needing multiple commanders.

    32-players is the max of HL.  I don't believe you can change it.  So that means 16v16!  15 marines one commander vs. 15 lv1-5s!  What a match!

    you can actually make it lower. for example the max amount of players for existence mod was 8v8 (or 7v7, im not sure, but im sure its one of the two)

    Large matches *can* be pretty stressful for the commander, but I've played in a lot of very fun 10v10 games.  I think the largest game I've played was 25 people or so.
