    Problem was that Solaris was advertised as 'the new Clooney flick', se everyone going into the theatre waited for something along the lines of 'Oceans 11 in Space'. Boy were they surprised...

    I'd definetely suggest to read the book first, BTW, but I always do that.


    By the way, sorry, but I can't stand Pitch Black. It's just too 'B-movie' for me, I guess.

    I'm trying to get hold of that series since I discovered that one of HL2s lead animators did it.

    Jammer have you read the "Enders Game" series by Orson Scott Card? Its worth a look if you havent!
