BAN the New York Post.
Simply ban the damn rag, and make sure everyone you know bans it as well.
Use your dollar to vote.
Video games is an industry that is larger than Hollywood. Thats right. Bigger than movies. If we even get a small, tiny fraction of that group banning any one product they'll feel it. And then some.
Sending this guy an email would be a bad idea. The only reason he wrote that the way he did was to produce a response from the readers, whether good or bad.
To email him an irrate message detailing your disgust at his ignorance (no matter how real), would be to give him exactly what he wants.
I'm the sure NY Post cares more about the writing ability than the opinion it presents ( to a certain limit). Like it or not, that article is written well, with a clear point : to stop people from buying the games. Now, this will spawn different opinions, which is good. The more opinions there are, the better, no matter how stupid they are.
Do all the Italians get to sue Take-Two as well? After all, the game portrays them all as murderers and thieves.
A bunch of crap, which has been taken to court a thousand times and lost every time. You can't sue people for opinion-based characterisation of nationality, it's covered under the First Amendment. They just want money - you know, like the Haitians in the game! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
PS: And the NY Post is just a tabloid rag. It's got about as much credibility as The Enquirer or The Star. Hell, they have a gossip column on page 6 FFS. The last week's frontpage headlines include, "Air Farce: kooky pilot evades city's terror alert", "NY's hottest bachelors", "Beat it, Jacko" and "Montel's death wish". All in 144-point, all-cap, extra exclamation point hysterical glory.
