Am I the only one that wouldn't mind just a plain HTML mirror? No offense, but flash got old a while back. I mean, it looks cool and all... but after a while every flash site is alot of the same, yours included. So if you really do want more people to come to your site and buy your 3 day reserve slot for 10$, try designing a much more user friendly GUI.
And, considering at least 4 people have said the stupid spinny thing is confusing (one of which being esuna <span style='color:orange'>this remark wasn't necessary</span>), you might really want to consider doing something different for navigation. Like, oh I dunno, a simple menu bar?

Apparently, my initial assumption that he had a little brother or something that messed around with it to test it wasn't the conclusion some people would rather jump to.
BigBull is under a LOT of stress with people attacking him from so many sides. He and the NSA team have put a hell of a lot more effort in to providing a solid supportive base for this community than most common users have, only to have their efforts berated by people who offer nothing supportive to this community in return.
Lay off or you're liable to chase the entire NSA team off these forums and you won't be getting any more of the Spec Ops packs and others that you love so much.
Or perhaps you'd all rather nothing better than a site composed of nothing but a Web-accessible folder with no index.html file.

id suggest you fix the model list in the custom section... doesnt look right atm. different font, sort the list by names etc... something needs to be dome to it in my eyes
Its pretty, but extreamly user <b>un</b>friendly. The spin nav thinger is a great way to navagite the site, but there should be a small text explaing that you have to spin it to use it. Secondly, the site layout is horrible. You can keep a flashy new look, just make the site layout a bit...better.
The news is extreamly tedious to read as the small space means constant scrolling. You should put the news on a side column along with the contests right next to/under it. Everything else can go on the other side of the column. Every other page seems ok.
Just keep in mind that you can keep that artsy feel to it while still having a sensable layout. Love the spinny thing though ( <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )...and the site!

Shrug, I figured you'd be able to tell I was overexaggerating but alas... no. Also, honestly, I don't think I ever tried to insult BigBull (honestly, I don't even really know who you are. sorry =/). And the IQ stab was only in reply to his stab earlier at everyone that said the nav was a pain in the arse.
Oh! One cool thing you could possibly thing of doing in the future is making sort of a template for all your renders/screenshots on the site. Just so you could get more of an even comparison between them (maybe require an ingame v, p, and w shot for each as well as a render, or something along those lines). Some models come with awesome renders that look only minimally like the ingame thing as well as vice-versa. It'd be nice to see what it looks like from all angles, ya know?
Your site does have a decent chance for possibility, it just needs some minor tweaking/changes. Sorry if I came off more hostile than I meant to.
Once we are more organzied, i was gonna do a render of each model split screened with an ingame picture.

Wow, i leave the thread all night then this happens.
Big Bull, you <b>really</b> need to look into how to accept constructive criticism and accept the fact that people <i>will</i> have negative attitudes. Just because you find the interface easy to work with, doesn't mean anyone else will, and you should <b>not</b> be insulting your target audience.
While i agree entirely that people <i>should</i> be doing something unique and different, a customisation fansite is <b><i>NOT</i></b> the right place to be doing it. If you really want to make some arty page, or whatever, go do that, but not on a page you expect to have high-traffic from the "standard internet users".
By "standard internet users" i am talking your average joe. Not someone who is out to look for cool designs or websites, but someone who wants their stuff and wants it now. As a designer i love seeing creative pages, and i do love "mystery meat" (as Fam calls them) interfaces, but you just don't realise that what you're doing on NSA is innapropriate for the site.

Any professional (and I mean a serious professional) designer will stress a user friendly interface and layout over something ultra-snazzy and quirky.
