Actually, they were Hillbillies, u know the brother marrys the sister and so on and then u get the sloth like characters in the movie!

I don't remember any "Zombies" in that series. There's a difference between Zombie and Possesed you know.
I've heard mixed reviews of Underworld, might be worth checking out tho.
Yup, that's why I hated 28 Days Later for trying to play itself off as a "Zombie Movie."

28 Days Later. Thought technically they weren't zombies, they did have a zombie mentallity.
Seriously, this is the best of the zombie movies. It's got a black guy with a big peice of bread, and a scientist with an eyepatch. It is awesome.
And you could try Zombie, Hell of the Living Dead, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, of course Night of The Living Dead, And Return of The Living Dead 1-3
In case you can't tell, I'm a bit of a zombie movie lover, and if you're looking for a zombie movie like 28 days later, you're going to be quite dissapointed, because 28 Dasy Later isn't technically even a zombie movie, and most zombie movies are not like it at all.
I'd like to add ReAnimator to the list of movies in this thread, also The Thing (again techncially not a zombie so don't jump down my throat you nutjobs but still a good horror movie with people not being what they seem O:)
And that chemical thing has been over-done to death really.I cant count the number of english or chinese movies ive seen about it.I remember when i was really young.....i watched a damn weird chinese movie....dont know the name....but it was late night TV so i only caught a portio of it.For some reason,a guy is running around with an evil sword stuck in him and the only way to stop him is to pull it out(i gathered this from the way the 2 main characters,average looking guys,kept trying to pull the sword out),but the sword doesnt want to be pulled out and resists.I remember a part where they hide themselves in a moruge(in the containers.Cold huh?),then the possesed guy discovers them,they try to pull the sword out again,almost manage it,and fail(i get the impression it happens a lot).Thats when i stopped watching.
Thats one of the more interesting concepts.Certaintly more refreshing that the old chemical thing.

There's zombi astral and zombi corps though. Zombie astral is a soul without a body, the corps is a body without a soul. Corps being french for body (not corpse, I can type properly). Also known as a zombie cadavre.
Most have been named but repeating them adds value.

Sadly most zombie films descend into humour. I have to say that the sequels are usually notorious for this, with the exception of Romero.

City of the Living Dead (Aka gates of Hell, Exelent movie that im still trying to find)
The Dead Hate the Living (another lucio Faluci film)
Return of the Living Dead (less serious film... but fun none the less Tar Man rules as one of the coolest looking zombies ever)
