It's just ever so slightly obvious that he's here to wind people up. And it's working. Remember [Champion]? When no one paid attention, they left. He's the same. So don't pay attention.

see, after all this, its not the actual normal ns forum goers, its the noobs that ruin the community, who stress the normal ns forum goers, and leads to a ban, same thing happened to owen.
Ladies and gents, there is no reason for this topic to get beyond 3 replies, much less 3 pages.
1) Topic starter 2) One, COUNT THEM, ONE person to inform them of everything they need to be told 3) and the new person replying with a conformation of understanding and wilco
That's all there should be.
We don't need 8 people to feel morally and patriotically obligated to give this guy the shaft. And HE doesn't need that. The only thing that results is scaring off the new people. Many of you had wet noses before, I remember owen meekly asking for some models and whatnot as well. We didn't bite your head off like a tripped out ozzy, and so you stayed. Your requests grew less and less immature and more and more reasonable. So KNOCK IT OFF. I don't see why so many of you feel the need to say the obvious. All it does is degrade the reputation of this section and yourselves, since some are usually banned in the end, and I DON'T mean the newbie.
New people come and go. DON'T TREAT THE NEW NEWBIE AS IF HE WAS THE LAST ONE WHO DIDN'T GET THE IDEA. k? They're different people. Don't get impatient- if you're too frustrated with newbies to post a proper response, then DON'T. And this goes for all of you, I don't care if you're new, regular, vet, playtester or anything. We will NEVER run out of people asking for silly stuff with less than double figure posts. Get used to it. All this excessive replying does is keep the thread near the top when we want it to die.
The following reply would have settled the whole situation:
"Welcome to the forums. The stickied topics at the top of the "NS Customization" section has all the information you need to get started. Included is a thread of released models, check them out and see if there are any you like. The search button at the top of the page is bugged, however if you look near the bottom of the page there is a functional search feature."
BAM. That's it. That's as far as it needs to go unless the newbie has any more questions. If they do, you answer them just as politely- If you're getting irritated, then don't answer and let someone else. Stop making yourselves look bad. It's not the "noobs" that ruin this community cookie, it's the regulars who are festering to get their chance to yell at them. They're LOOKING for a reason.
Stop WORRYING over one topic that was brought back a long time ago. It's not that big a deal. If 12 year old topics are bumped at once, I can see getting a little miffed, but you can't say to someone "DO A SEARCH!" and then yell at them if they bring back an old topic that was the result of their search. Stop saying "OMG YOU NEWBIE LEARN TO DO THINGS YOURSELF!". I know of several of you who have said this (owen for instance) who, when he was new, was begging for us to do models too. He learned, eventually, but if we had yelled at him like that he probably wouldn't have stuck around to learn. I sure wouldn't have.
burncycle, the 'noobs' wind up the people who wind up the regulars, if they didnt wind em up, they wudnt burst out in anger, as you can see above with brig and 404
No, cookie, even without the "noobs" the regulars here find something to cut each others throat about. I point to all the topics where there were dozens of replies about a crediting issue when one would have sufficed.
