Evolving
Okay I was just wondering if you have to stay alive constantly to continuisly evolve, or when you die do you de-evolve back to a level 1? Sorry if this question has already been answered I just didn't find the solution anywhere.

1: You have to get a certain amount of Resources to evolve, varies for each

    2: Yes

    On-topic of evolution:

How long does it take to goto Lv to Lv? Just like an adverage time. I relize this still might be STC.

Put it this way, lower levels of aliens take less time. Maybe 5-10 seconds for a skulk to 30 or so seconds for the level 5? Not too sure as I have never timed it

All I know is that when a hive is under attack, it *always* takes "too long." (: But yes, the higher level aliens require a longer evolution time.

What happens to your view when evolving? Is it cut off? Can you still look around? Do you get a third-person POV?

Your view is obscured by some sort of halfway-transparent fetus thing. Kinda weird, but gives you the feeling that you're in a cocoon.(sp?) You can still look around. Though, it won't help you much.

What happens if say, you were a lv5 with about 200 pnts of Hp missing and then you need to climb up somewhere and you downgrade to a lv1. Will you die or comeout with 100% of your hp restored?

Or really the question is, when you start to evolve does your hp reset to the lv's starting hp?

The evolution 'sac' has its own HP amount. When you evovle, you always come out as a full HP whatever level alien you evolved into.

Can the evolution sac hang from ceilings and walls, or does it have to be on the ground?

And while we're on the subject of clinging to walls, what about the Lerk. Can it cling to ceilings and walls? I'm pretty sure it can't climb, but what about perching?

    Thanks for answering so much!

just to make sure this isn't exploitable, you can't evolve to your own level right?
though this would only be useful as a level 1, if you can do that, you can quickly regain HP at a relatively small cost in RPs.

Nope, you can't evovle to your own level. There are other ways to heal though, via standing ner a hive or defenive chamber.
and the evoltuion MUST be done on the ground. You can't be a skulk hanging from the wall or ceiling and evovle.
