No, Bryce is a landscape modeling program that allows you to create photo-realistic landscapes, skies, trees and so on...

shure it does, bryce is able to convert drawed greyscale stuff into 3d models... you can use greyscale heightmaps to create landscapes, or complex 3d objects. ive used it long time ago to create complex 3d objects without any modelling, the most work will be done in photoshop. you will need some experience with heightmapping.
btw.. mr. shirow is using bryce for his 3d fx and models...used mainly as backgrounds.. they are based on such greyscale heightmaps. (ive seen he is using lightwave too, with models he got exported from bryce)

Yeah, thats sort of on the lines on what i thought. A long time ago I got a free white dwarf warhammer magazine, with a comic book thing on the side. It shows how this guy made his drawings into 3d models. let me check....right... i would scan it in, but it takes to long so i will just quote,
"I work on a macintosh computer, which sounds very techy, but actually I just use it like it was a brush and inks. It's just a tool. To start with, I scanned in pencils and inks, but now I just scan in the original pencil sketches. As a guide, I guess, in the later episodes, everything that isn't a black line is computer generated. I use a program called Byrce to do all of the 3-d modelling; then I add all the lighting effects, airbrush in shading, etc, in photo-shop. Sometimes I even scan in photos of bits of machinery, etc, and work on top of them."
Right, i will scan in an example when my scanner decides to work on this new hub i have
You have copied and pasted Flipper....damn your Piracy!
