Havent really won as alien for 10 or 11 rounds now.

And all because of 2.0. It weakened the Kharaa hearts, they belived they could win it all just by doing the best for themselves. And it strenghened the hearts of the Marines. They had to struggle for their lives in face of the overwhelming onos forces with powerful lerk support.
Then 2.01 came out. Then the weak hearted individual Kharaa beeings could not compete with the power of electicity. This decreased the morale of the hiveind even more. The beings, in lack of a progressive mind, strugeled with their old tactics. They bravely build a res tower at round start, did not go fade before 2nd hive, did not save for onos, or even didnt drop the 2nd hive asap. They just find themselves overrun by marines who barely lose track of their targets and cut the big Nano-Sludge sucking sacs into handy gibs, while the aliens run into the mass one by one in the desperate fight for their self-esteem. In their dispair they also lost their ability to communicate, they dont speak, they dont write. Can the fear of dieing completey block the creatures abillity to communicate?

Has the same thing happened to the Hivemind as to its bigger brother, the Overmind? Has it been killed by some mysterious unknown 3rd party?

Im not talking about some "OMG or Comm dont know how to build" encounters on pubs, im talking about the average fairly skilled TSA squad you encouter every evening troughout the space stations in the public universe.
Where are the frightening Kharaa swarms who can compete with them?

    Yup, aliens lose sooooo much because they dont communicate/use teamwork. on pubs, anyway

    We have a dedicated community usualyl who are fairly good on both teams.

    Aliens just need to work together more than they did in earlier version of NS. It's not IMPERATIVE, but, the marines are starting to realize they C A N N O T win without teamwork. This means in order for aliens to win they need to work together more than usual. The ol' "Run around and kill stuff by yourself" is not cutting it anymore.

    Aliens need at least two good fades to deal with a competent marine team before a second hive. Without fades, you won't have some map control and without map control, your second hive will never be built/finish building.
