Hammer Crashing

<div class="IPBDescription">After reinstalling windows</div> Hammer keeps crashing, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. I've deleted all my confguration files, and reinstalled it to different directories. It doesn't crash until I setup a game type, and try to create a new map or open one.

    [edit] Hmm... I suspect the error is with the openGL graphics. Try upgrading your graphics drivers, and make sure they support openGL.

    I'm sorry. I'm sure you right about the opengl thing. I'm running an ati 9700 pro, and ever since I upgraded to the 3.9 drivers, I don't have any open GL. Everything works fine with the 3.8 drivers though.

    I know this isn't the right forum for this question either, but if anyone knows why this is or knows of a solution that will allow me to run witht he 3.9 drivers (max payne 2 crashes frequently with the 3.8 drivers and Half-life won't run in open GL with the 3.9 drivers). I could really use the help.

    My GeForce never gives me problems. It's got awesome hardware and rock-solid drivers. I lurve my GeForce.
