    It says my client protocol (or something) is older server 48 client 46 so i cant connect.

    That probably because their server is a dod steam server most of the week, its only a won ns server on fridays so theres no point trying to connect until friday. i recomend that you get HLSW so you can see when its been turned over to ns.

    I would say this is a good chance for the new players wanting to try comming without getting flamed and then broiled.

    I doubt many pub servers would let someone who's new to NS (or at least new to the concept of comming), and newbies are more likely to get flamed if it is revealed that he indeed, sucks because he never commed before.

    But, where will they learn if they don't try comming? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Bots are one good way, but from my experience it just isn't... the same, with comming with real people (at least it helps you learn how buildings work, shortcut keys, etc).

    I'll probably be there. I may not quite be a newbie, but I still need to brush up on my comm/onos/fade skills. And I won't mind helping out other peeps that are new to the game.
    I just hope you can get more people in this week; Last time we only had four people playing. :/
