EHHH!!! I keep getting this message in my console that says unknown command ex_maxerrordistance. And I get kicked out of servers sometimes because it says I overflowed it or something like that. I think that unknown command is messing it up but anyways, I asked a person on the server if they could help me out and they told me it had something to do with my config and to go to the forums to check it out. Well I performed a search and a topic with someone saying they installed ns 2.0 to DoD. Well this wasn't usefull because I installed NS to steam. If someone can please help me out. Also, when a game has ended in NS sometimes the HL Launcher just crashes and my whole computer is bright because NS's video settings I suppose so then I have to restart my computer . PLEASE help me. I presume you've installed NS 2.0 in Steam? It isn't offically supported yet, and is buggy. You best bet would be to fully uninstall and reinstall NS on Steam. Its possible some of the config files have become crossed with other mods. As for your gamma settings, theres a program you can run to reset your gamma, but I can't remember where it is, hopefully someone else will know its name.

The program is called Resetgamma.exe and I believe it is located in the same folder as the ns exe (which would be the ns folder).

First, this belongs in the tech support forum.

The thing with the ex_maxerrordistance is a Steam bug, simply go to your Steam folder/SteamApps/youremailadress/halflife/ns and open the config.cfg with an editor like notepad.
Then simply add the line
ex_maxerrordistance ""
to it.
Save, exit, done.

lol somehow ns reset my config file i have to do this before i start ns everytime

Like it says in the Steam config.cfg you have to put it in userconfig.cfg to make it permanent...
