Heres's the skinny. I've been beta testing 3.0 mostly so I hadn't played 2.01 in a while. Recently I started playing it again and I lately I've been having a weird problem with moving my mouse and my screen doesn't move. Its exactly like lag except there is none. I have 0 choke, 0 loss, playing with a 60 ping. I don't experience spiking or anything like that. Running in Open GL at 600X800 (Or whatever the closes resolution to that is if thats not exact). Rate 6000, cl_rate 6000, cl_cmdrate 20, cl_updaterate 30. I haven't had this problem at all in 3.0 (and we all know how well steam runs) so I'm baffled on this one. I'm not sure if I fully understand your problem... either when you move your mouse it takes a few moments for the screen to "react" even though your ping is perfect no choke etc. The motions of the mouse are the same motions you make, they just happen moments later. Or, you will be playing and then all of a sudden things lock up and you freeze (like when you have a connection problem) except people are still moving around you.

If it's the former, usually that is due to something wrong with your processor. The most common problem is that the system recognizes the clock speed of the mouse as faster than it is. If its the latter, I got a little bit of this tonight. On several servers. I think it might be a thing with our friend steam.

You failed to mention whether "playing it" was using WON or STEAM. This would be significant in determining your problem.
