The teaser trailor has been out for months. I'd love to see more about this movie as it does sound rather cool.

Aliens was cool. Predator was average (5 highly trained commandos empty their clips at empty forest and toss a couple grenades before even trying to figure out if something was still there). AvP was good (I think. I never played it but from hearing around). AvP2 was amazing. What's the movie going to be like I can't say, I just hope it's amazing

I vote 10 bucks that AvP movie will get horrid reviews and wont take in lots of money, yet true fans will love it.

Predator was AVERAGE??!! You crazy man, predator OWNED. Tree camping, cloaking and your spear = lots of scientist and marine skulls! Shoulder cannon = lots of alien skulls and the healing and regeneration your energy is just perfect! Reminds me of a fade in a way.

OH crap, sorry ventured a lil bit off topic there. Yes the film was ok, makes me wonder what the full movie is going to be like.

"OMG" A film with the most preposterous plot (involving Egyptians and pyramids as well as the 3 species) helmed by Paul W.S. Anderson; director of such dross as Resident Evil, Soldier and Event Horizon.
Another license ruined. I can hardly wait.

Oh, and you fools! Predator was an excellent action film; one of Arnie's best. Each cast member has their own distinct personality, while managing to at least act in a convincing manner. The fight sequences were well-thought out, testosterone packed and superbly directed by John McTiernan (the legend of Die Hard fame).
A sharp script, major stars performing at their prime and an original concept = fantastic film.

"Lance Henriksen, who plays billionaire industrialist Charles Bishop Weyland in the upcoming franchise hybrid film Alien vs. Predator, told SCI FI Wire that director Paul W.S. Anderson wrote the role specifically for him, as a nod to the previous Alien films. "I was the first one cast in the movie," Henriksen said in an interview on the set in Prague"

Hmm, I think this film will be fun to watch in the theaters, but I also think that the criticis will hate it, simply because its an avp film. But none the less, it has a lot of potential.
