I imagine it's been a bit sluggish the last few weeks because of the Christmas thing. Give Flayra and co. a few weeks, and we'll probably be seeing rapid patches again.

I dont think that will happen mainly due to new error occuring, so one day it will be 100bugs the next it could be 1337 bugs and all the ungratfuls(sp?) would moan saying 'OMG NS AINT COMMING OUT!!!' etc

the easiest way to tell when NS3 is comming out is simple, wait for some new media to be realeased on rr.org or on the main site, wait for some type of media event (NS radio interview) then your going to know its about time

ps. HL2 SDK is comming out in a 'couple of weeks' so maybe the NS team might be spending a little time looking at it

Every new feature added brings buggs, ever new version brings fixes and new bugs.

You cant count them, beta testing is destructive in looking for bugs, and testing for bugs meerly informs of the PRESSENSE of bugs not of the ABSENCESE of them.

Firstly, when talking about bugs, quantity isn't as important as quality. We have already told what the biggest visible hurdle is right now in NS3.0's development, and we have tried to explain why it may not even be within our ability to fix until Valve handles it.

Secondly Kirchy, I'm starting to think you're having trouble finding and reading replies to your own threads when they fall off the front page. Using different wording ("how many bugfixes until release" instead of "how many days until release") does not mean you can keep doing this. You were already given a warning, and I already let one more thread slide. As of this moment, I consider your repetitions of the same question to be moving into the realm of spamming. I think I need to be more blunt: for at least the immediate future, please stay patient enough not to make yet another thread to ask the question for which you were already often given the answer: "when it's done."
