Brush / Solid-count

<div class="IPBDescription">how much is TOO much?</div> I face a problem: sine I have to rework my map to lower the number of total faces. I asked myself, how much solids (roughly) should be used to what area in a map, to enshure that there are enough left, to do other parts.

for example: how many solids should I used at MAXIMUM when my map will get quite big?

maybe some people can check their own readyrooms (copy it to seperated file and look at "map / show information").
this would be very useful to me.

it's going to vary from one map to another. Generally as long as you're under the limits you are doing just fine. Also it changes because a map with harsh edge transitions (read as no beveled corners) will have fewer faces as the same map with beveled corners. your compile log should show faces/planes/etc/etc used out of total available. Divide used by total and try to keep that percentage close to your maps completion percentage.
