Contsee Member Access?

I just became a constee member (or will soon?) by donating the other day and I'm wondering about how long it takes to recieve confirmation? I'm also wondering if I put my steam id in the right spot (the paypal payment email) and if I'll recieve an email telling me how to download 3.0 as well?

Ok...I am patient, I'm just wondering what to expect...it's not like I'm asking for the release date of 3.0 or something, am just asking for some information on what to expect. For all I know, I was supposed to send them and email or something besides my paypal information email.

if you put your won and steam ids in the paypal email, you will get access to the beta servers.

you will also get an email from flayra.

with a link to d/l the latest patch.

and a password.

i donated through the mail on thursday...., it should of been there yesterday or today. Im waitin for my confirmation to, i just dont want to end up where i donated an get nothin sort of deal. The reason "its like pulling teeth" is that there already have been hundreds of posts here of exactly the same nature as this, and people get sick of answering the same questions over and over and over and over, and one more and over, for good mesure. This question probably could have been answered in past threads of the same nature, which can easily be found via the <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Search&f=1' target='_blank'>Search</a> function. you could try using the key words constellation access.

although BOBDO, i did say at the end i can wait for a while as hes prolly busy, with other things an stuff. Im in no big rush.

Donated... and get nothing. Waitaminute. When you donate, you aren't /expecting/ anything in return. If you were, it would be a 'purchase', not a 'donation'.

As things stand, constellation processing is rather behind as only Flayra can handle it... confirming the incoming donations and adding people to the Constellation database, as well as adding the names to his mailing list. As you /might/ guess, taking care of all the people who donate <b>specifically to get into the beta</b> (*cough cough*) as well as trying to actually continue work on 3.0 to prepare it for release for everyone makes time a bit tight.. and that's not even counting such inconsequential things as 'sleep' or 'fun'.
Personally, I would have kept things limited to those who had donated <i>before</i> the treat of being permitted to play with the beta was announced. Though I'm certain it's picked up donations by quite a bit, thanks to this exact mindset.

In short, wait for it. It's not a 'it should be there by now'. There have been people waiting a couple of weeks after that point just so they could be processed in a free moment or three. If the donation has been sent in, you'll get into the database. How soon is anyone's guess.
