    demiguise, thats a story jack. do it too much and ill boot you. you cant find something unless i tell you you can. most importantly YOU CANNOT CONTROLL PEOPLE OTHER THEN YOURSELF. this goes for npc's. this goes also for objects. you can ATTEMPT to cause this to happen this way:

    *Begins walking to the east*
    [finds a skulk that will scratch oden]
    *Odin gets angry, fakes to the left and right and*
    [slashes at the Skulk]

    i would point out, that of all the skulks in the area, finding one that scratches you is unlikely, and you might not have enough int to recognize which one will on sight. as it happens your not likely to find a skulk right away as your smelling something OTHER then a skulk to the east.

    game will resume in a day or two once everyone filters back into the forums. feel free to give me a hi sign so i know when everyones back.

    edit: greens fine, epoch. and its only until the forums go back to how they were, then you can go back to white.

    well, para, you AND jdw both set up that skulk on your previous round (you got into an ambush position and he put it in a compramising position jumping around). it would have been difficult NOT to do massive damage between you. in this case "luck" was jdw and not a crit (if it was i would have put a crit alert OOC).

    J D W: +1 for kill assitance above and beyond the call of reason. (basically, i dont want anyone calling killsteal. you all did very well against an enimy you wern't supposed to defeat, as well as helping me refine my combat system.)

    Demiguise: +1 for existing. you also get the "most improved poster" award on this thread.

    yes, actually. everyone who was involved in combat gets 2 levels for defeating an enimy that was 5 levels above you (the one that wouldnt die got +5 to attack/defense rolls). jdw gets anouther +1 for kill-assist total: +3. demiguise gets a total of +1. this brings the level spread to 1-4. dont get too excited, though. a vinilla onos is level 60 and i plan to go far beyond that if the rpg survives.

    <i>as you wander into the caves you see row after row of sleeping leges for skulks lining the upper parts of the wall. boggle lays down on a free one high up on hte wall and immediately feels the healig powers of the bacterium kick in. offshooting the main tunnel are large alcolves with healing chambers, with indentions on the top for skulks to rest on. most of these are taken by badly injured skulks. much farther in is the shape of an onos. it is kneeling in front of a much smaller fuigure that you cant quite make out. it is bewildering what could possibly make such a powerful being as an onos need to visit a training and healing planet.</i>

    <span style='color:white'> as you approch the onos you recognize the being in front of you as a Loremaster, a being of great and terrible mind that holds most of the anchient wisdom of the Khraa. the onos' eye turn tword you, but it cannot see you. it is being attended to by master healers working tirelessly to heal more deeply then even re-incarnation can. as you try to speak to it, the Loremaster sends the faintest tendrel of its mind into yours. you all experiance its words in your minds, and know undoubtingly that this being could destroy you all simply by speaking.</span>

    you passed them physically, you can still heal. the healing stations are built into the alcolves and restingplaces near the entrance to the caves. the healers themselves, you havent seen yet. but they would have to be in one or more of the offshoot alcolves...somewhere.
