But I saw something very funny on a server I was playing on and thought I would share it with you all. If this topic is in the wrong forum, I apologize, but it didnt exactly seem off topic.
The map was mineshaft. The rine team had relocated to refinery. 2 marines somehow had gotten up on these 2 rails on top of the "door" to refinery. Hopefully you can picture what im talking about. Well, with the lack of 2 men, the aliens got the better of us and 3 hives.
Lerks were flying around the refinery door sporing the base because there were some Ds set up there for them. Watching through spectator mode when I was dead, these Lerks were flying mere inches from the marines hiding up there. They could've knifed them if they wanted to. Instead they stood completely silent. We were all laughing pretty hard.
So then a Fade comes in and starts shooting acid rockets. I guess he needed a new viewpoint, so he blinked up to those railings. He landed <b>right on top of the Marines head.</b> No, im not kiddding. He sat right on top of the Marines head, completely oblivious. In the Fade's defense, its really dark up there. None of the marines could contain themselves at this point. Well eventually some alien saw one of the marines and killed him. Didnt notice the other though.
So all the marines are dead, aliens are looking all over for the marines. Honestly, I have no idea why they didnt get SoF with all 3 hives. But one of the aliens went to spectator mode to find him, then rejoined to kill him. I pointed this out, and an admin on the marine team slapped the marine. He flew off the railing into that corner near the ramp. Which is dark, but not nearly as dark as where he was hiding.
Mere seconds later, the skulk runs by and climbs up to where the marine was. After seeming a bit confused, he ran off. Shouts from the admin saying "I SAVED YOUR ****" came a lilttle bit later.
So the aliens are all milling about refinery looking up at the ceiling looking for this marine. Until about 2-3 minutes later, one skulk finally found him. It had been about 10 minutes since the marines were destroyed.
Perhaps it was a particular noobish alien team, or the alignment of the stars, or something else, but it was a very funny experience =D

Maybe nobody wanted to de-evolve from a higher lifeform and drop some SCs? I really dont know.

after running and shooting like crazy and killing 3 skulks and a <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo--> I had nothing left so I threw away everything I had execpt my knife <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> on me so I would become faster <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I think it had gone about 1 hour and 20 mins at this moment. With only 90 health and 40 armor I proceded to hide in a box. 1 hour and 35 min now I think. A lerk flies into the shadows where I'm standing I just had to knife him <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> he spores me and I go down to 5 in health when he finnaly is dead <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.
