Heres how it went, I join marines, with 1 other guy, and 4 people go aliens, the classic stack. There are 4 people still in the readyroom obviously they weren't going to join our team. So, we had an ip and an armory. I made an electrified tfac to protect them, upg. the armory, and sgs for the two of us, and we went after their hive. We both died. Not long after, I made myself an hmg, because the game was as good as over in the first few seconds.
2 guys ended up joining from the ready room, and I'm not sure how long it took for them to join, but over a minute or two the time it takes to upgrade an armory. They start calling ME a n00b for making myself a gun, when more likely i've been playing longer than them (1.02).
SOOOO to my question.
In an unbalanced game (2 to 4) would you, get yourself guns, or actually try to build res nodes, and secure them and all that jazz?
my reasoning was that, if you die building anything, it is as good as dead, as well as everything in the area because you can't get to it fast enough.

I normally don't f4, no matter what situtation i'm in.
AND the other guy made the ip and armory, so we would have to recycle that to relocate

Drop shotties, and drop a res on the way to their hive. Build it as you go!
*shrugs* In reality, there's not much you can do. If my teammate is good enough that I think we have a tiny tiny semblance of hope (requires bad aliens as well), I slap the CC down at the res node and build around that (elec the tfac first, res node later on) for numerous reasons (namely because I <i>can</i> when there's only 2 of us). Then, have him move out with a shotty and enough medspam to bring the world to an end... Cap res, don't elec, and just kill enemy res. Get motion fast. Kill res, kill res, kill res, shoot hive if they expand too fast, etc... Chances are low, even with a huge skill inbalance, but it gives you a chance (and lets the grunt have some insane fun with the perpetual med/ammo support).
You talking about Team Funs? Lmfao they need to get rid of that junk.
