Negative Colors When Joining Game

<div class="IPBDescription">any help?</div> yeah, when i installed NS in steam, it played just fine for about 2 weeks.

then it started giving me some negative colours.

but not the whole screen is in negative, just some of the screen.

i dont have any programs controlling my gamma, and i have the newest vid drivers.


any help?

    what i mean is that when i join a game

    my screen says doesnt support Gamma Settings,

    and then it flashes and turns my colors to negatives like looking at film negatives

    i dont have any seperate programs modifying my gamma settings, i have all the latest drivers, if someone could point me to where i need to go(if this question has been handled before) because i looked and tried the advice in the faqs, but nothing seemed to help.

    i have a p4 2.4gzh
    geForce 4 4200ti 8x
    1 gig of RAM
    running on win XP
